I haven't updated for the past 2 months. >< I should explain.
I guess the only way to begin would be to describe my daily schedule:
Wake up at about 6am, school from 7 to 2, hang around at school and do homework until badminton practice (Yep, I'm on the team) from 4-7pm. Then sometimes I have Confirmation class (I TA for my old teacher) or choir practice, which end at 9 and 10pm respectively. Even if we have a game, home or away, doesn't matter. During any given day of the week, I will usually get home from 7:30-10pm. Homework sometimes isn't finished until after midnight. Sometimes it just isn't finished. So, I'm constantly very sleepy, but hey, what can you do, right?
So yeah, if you hadn't noticed from the above, I have virtually no free time of my own. Even on the weekends, something comes up and I can't sit at the computer for any longer than 5 minutes. Just 3 weeks ago, I started carrying around a notebook so I could fan-fic anyways. Even then, I've only written one installment of Av-Gens. >< FML

The only real respite I've had recently was over spring break, when me, my mom, sister, and niece, decided last minute to drive up to San Jose (an 8 hour drive, mind you. 0.o) to visit my other sister. It was really fun and great, because I only get to see her like 5 times a year, so needless to say, the glomping was so on. Of course, I had to get sick for the last two days, FML. But still, I had a blast. (Even though that was the week I'd planned to spend glued to the computer fan-ficing. >< )
OOH!! When we went to the mall, we passed by one of those claw machines and half of the toys were Disney, the other half of them AVATAR PLUSHIES!!! They were Season 1, though, so no Toph. But there was S1!Zuko (ponytail and all), Sokka, Katara, Aang, even Appa, and Momo. Even though I'm a freaking wiz at those games, I didn't get one cuz the claw was too loose and wouldn't pick them up. It was still pretty cool though.

Then today (as in 1am today) I got back from another road trip to LA for my cousins' First Communion. It was ok, I mostly slept the whole way back. It only sucked because yesterday was the annual Rookie Tournament for Badminton for all of the schools in our district, so of course, I had to miss it. >< It went pretty well though: we got 7th in Women's Doubles, and I think it was 1st, 2nd, and something else in Women's singles. Go team!!


So yeah. That's pretty much my life right now. Srsly can't wait 'til summer. >< I have CSTs this week (California Standardized testing), SATs next weekend (subject), and AP tests the week after that. >< I have no hope what-so-ever of passing the AP Chem test, but I'm praying that I can at least have a shot at passing the AP US History one.
As part of our Opinion/Editorial section of learning for my Journalism class, I wrote an Opinions piece (though it was more of an essay really. Over 800 words. 0.o) about Hollywood white-washing its casts for certain movies (GEE, I wonder where I got THAT idea. ) and it was published in the school newspaper. (My 3rd published piece out of 4 issues, though the first one was by default: Twilight movie review. Of course it was going to go in anyways. ) Unfortunately, it was printed on the Editorial page, so no one knows I wrote it. >.< (Opinions have by-lines, Editorials don't.) But still, it was printed, and I'm, happy about it. I might post it up later in the week so you guys can check it out.

Anyways, that's pretty much it for right now. I have one installment of Av-Gens that I will post right now, and one that I need to finish typing up, so it will probably be good to go tomorrow, or Tuesday. (I really mean it this time when I say it'll be up this week. >< ) For those of you who think the story is going too slowly (i repeat, the story. yes, i know the production is what's slow. >< ) I promise it's about to get interesting in a few more “chapters” (forgive the over-statement, plz.).
